My first images, I archive static composition by using vertical and horizontal lines which gives the image a appearance of stationary or not moving.  Also shooting the image in a straight angle will give the image a static composition.

Dynamic images usually the idea of movement and energy. For my last images, I archive dynamic composition by using diagonal lines and by shooting the image at an angle.

Knowing the main or dominant element is very important when you are deciding if a image is static or Dynamic. For example if your take a picture that is 50% statics and the another 50% is Dynamic, the best way to decided if the composition of the image is by knowing your dominant element Composition, if your dominant element is dynamic then your image will be dynamic and by versa for static. Here are the dominant elements for my pictures.
